For heat-resistant seams
Gütermann K is a special thread made from 100% aramid (twisted, long staple), ideal for protective clothing, light tarpaulins and equipment. In addition to its visual brilliance, this sewing thread primarily convinces with its high temperature resistance, low flammability, and good chemical resistance to weak acids and alkalis.
Gütermann K and Gütermann K AR have received the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificate and are certified in accordance with EN ISO 15025. Therefore, they are ideal for garments that must comply with DIN EN 469, EN ISO 11612, EN ISO. 11611 and EN ISO 14116.
